Starting your health and fitness journey

Before you start training at The Fitness Box, we want to find out who you are and what you want to achieve.

You’ll fill out a questionnaire to help us determine what you want to get out of your training. Based on your answers, we’ll assign you with the personal trainer that we think will best assist you with your goals.

Your personal trainer will tailor your training

Based on your questionnaire, your personal trainer will create a personalised training program that is specific to your body type and what you want to achieve. You might be getting married and want to lose a few kilos for your wedding, or you might want to train for your first marathon!

Whatever you want to accomplish, having a customised training program means you’re much more likely to get results because the time you spend in the gym will be focussed and specific.

Motivation is key

From our experience there are two main motivational benefits to training with a personal trainer. Number one; it gets you to the gym in the first place. If someone is at the gym waiting for you, who you’re accountable to, you’re more likely to turn up.

Secondly you get more out of the time you spend in the gym. A personal trainer will push you harder than if you’re by yourself and we take pride in making our sessions varied and fun so you enjoy them.

It’s also great going to the gym and not having to think about what you’re doing – someone else is doing all the planning for you!

Affordable training

We believe that you get value for money when you train with a personal trainer because of the personalised experience you receive.

But we want to make our training accessible and affordable to anyone who is committed to train. So if it’s a little expensive, you can always train with a friend or partner to split the cost.

We also offer a 10% discount when you pay weekly in advance for your sessions.
